Today on Buckmaster– Executive Director of the Regional Transportation Authority Gary Hayes sits down with Bill to discuss the RTA’s five year anniversary. Next, Bill Carnegie of the Community Food Bank and Dan Turrentine from the National Association of Letter Carriers stop to talk about the upcoming Stamp Out Hunger event. Following that, Tucson City Councilwoman Karin Uhlich breaksdown this week’s city council meeting. To close out the show, Harvard Education Professor Dr. Hiro Yoshikawa calls in to preview his upcoming visit to Tucson and his latest book Immigrants Raising Citizens: Undocumented Parents and Their Young Children.
